Videogames I’m Looking Forward to Play in 2020

February has just began, and it’s almost two months since I started this blog. I have quite an infinite backlog that it’s awaiting for me, but I cannot ignore some videogames that will come out in 2020. So here’s a list of those that have all my attention at the moment!

Many of the games on this list don’t have a release date announced yet. Some are officially set to release on 2020, but I’m a bit doubtful about it. I decided to put them anyway because I’m really looking forward to play them.

From my Instagram account, not counting the games I have digitally

Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX

I chose to preorder it after hearing my friends talk greatly about the original for Game Boy Advance and Nintendo DS. Also inspired by the trailer and the demo available on Nintendo Switch I decided to give it a shot. It will be my first expensive game of 2020 and I really can’t wait for March to finally play it!

Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX

Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Animal Crossing: New Leaf was the first game I ever played on my Nintendo 3DS. I had so much fun during the countless hours I spent improving my town and my house in the game. I wasn’t very hyped about New Horizons when it was announced, but then I thought about the possibility of playing it with my friends since I played New Leaf all alone. The thought of this kind of new experience made me preorder New Horizon and I can’t wait to enjoy it with my friends!

Cook, Serve, Delicious! 3?!

Cook, Serve, Delicious! 3?! came out on Early Access on January 29th and, by the time I’m writing this, I already purchased it. I still have to play it though. The first chapter of the franchise made me have fun for more than 40 hours. I played Cook, Serve, Delicious! 2!! almost double that time, but it disappointed me in many ways. It improved very much on the gameplay, but the missing story mode just was not okay for me.
I’m hoping that this third entry in the series will become my favorite one, the premises are simply great! Also pretty curious about all the post-apocalyptic setting!

Snack World: The Dungeon Crawl – Gold

This game will come out this month, on February 14th, but I think I will wait a bit to buy it. The reason is simply because I have too many games because Snack World looks great. I have a feeling that I will be hooked to this game and I hope I will find out soon!

Bravely Default II (TBA 2020?)

Bravely Default was one of my favorite games for Nintendo 3DS and I played it nonstop for months. I still have to play Bravely Second, but I didn’t hear great things about it and I was told that it counts more like a spin-off. So Bravely Default II will be the next main entry in the series and I’m simply too hyped about it!

Tales of Arise (TBA 2020)

I didn’t play many Tales of games, and Berseria is still on my Steam Library begging to be played more. After I’ll finish it properly I’ll probably buy Tales of Arise. I’m enjoying every bit of the game that is revealed and I’m really looking forward for the full experience.

Bayonetta 3 (TBA 2020?)

Bayonetta 2 is one of my favorite games on Nintendo Wii U (and one of the main reasons for me to buy the console). I’m waiting for Bayonetta 3 since the first announcement, but unfortunately the game just disappeared from the radar and I don’t know when we will have a release date.
