#roadto2020 – South Park: The Fractured But Whole

Condividi

Hopefully this will be the last day I will be behind the schedule. I hope.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole was a game I had to review for a website I wrote for. As I told you on the 25th, the continuous writing reviews led me to a dark period in 2019 where I couldn’t play a single game. I don’t have good memories of all the games I had to play, and I think that South Park: The Fractured But Whole was the best experience I had as a reviewer.
Previous to my dark period, I wasn’t having fun anymore playing videogames. Even when they were titles I chose to play for myself. Then this new South Park game came out in 2017, and I just couldn’t stop playing it.
For the 30+ hours I needed to complete the game I was laughing and enjoying the plot. I was delighted by the jokes and the mocking of superhero movies (specifically the MCU).

South Park: The Fractured But Whole

When I finished playing I just needed to replay it, to feel carefree again, and to laugh some more. I even enjoyed writing about it, and I think that it was the best review I have ever made.
